Ward 7 Rampura: low water pressure for three days as pipeline work continues

The Sevli Water Board (fictional) has told residents of Rampura to expect low pressure until Thursday evening while a damaged 300 mm main is replaced.

Store water for cooking and drinking. Boil water for one day after supply returns.

The Water Board said the old iron main had burst twice in two months. The new pipe is made of ductile iron and should last 40 years.

Residents have been advised to avoid washing vehicles and to use water carefully until supply returns.
