Ward 5 Nehru Nagar: new anganwadi centre opens in a renovated community hall

The hall, unused for six years, was repaired with local funds. Meals are cooked on site.

Registration is open on weekdays between 10 am and 1 pm.

The hall was renovated with a toilet for children, a kitchen and a play corner. Two local women were hired as the helper and the cook.

The women's group says the centre will also host a monthly health check for mothers.
