The run supports the city's clean-ward contest. Entry is free.

The route covers the clock tower, the old market and the lake road before returning to the start. Water points are every kilometre, and an ambulance will follow the pack.

Participants who pick up litter on the way will get a stamp on their bib; five stamps win a reusable bag.

This is a demo story: every name, place, organisation and figure in it is fictional.
